I think for a lot of people just getting their heads around the EV, metering and other settings is demanding enough. Nut once they get used to using AE-L the images are greatly improved.<br />I can commiserate with you regarding the cold in the U.k. too. My daughter is currently in Lancaster and my brother a Mum live on the Isle of Skye so I'm always getting weather reports about how cold it gets.R.
