The Moon and the Stars

Three shots for you this time. The first being the Moon at quarter phase. Shot in Black and White for improved contrast.

The second is the tail of Scorpius setting in the western horizon. If you know your constellations you will recognize these star patterns. The bright object is of coarse the Moon.

The third shot is taken due south, and is a shot of the Southern Cross pointing downwards just above the horizon. To the right at the 5 O'Clock position is the two bright pointer stars Alpha & Beta Centaurus.
