One more sleep till Santa...

Merry Xmas to one and all. I hope you have an enjoyable festive break and are fortunate enough to spend it with family and friends.

Santa has come early here and dropped off my latest addition to the 35mm Pentax family. Namely one good condition MZ/zx-50 Pentax 35mm SLR. Bought from Trademe for the princely sum of $45.00 NZ dollars. That includes camera and two lenses. 1 x 28-80mm and 1x75-210mm. This camera is going to be used side by side with the Fuji HS10.

It will provide a larger scale image file than the HS10 and will be used to generate large photos and photos on canvas.

I will also do a side by side comparison of the two formats to see how much difference there really is with film.

This will be done over the beginning of the New Year after we have done a couple of photo excursions.
