The HS10 as a Sports Camera ...more action

More action from the shoreline.

Due to the speed and wide area of coverage the Kiteboarders could very quickly distance themselves from us on the shore line. In a good breeze 4 or 5 seconds is sometimes all that you have between a good shot and a missed opportunity. The one thing that didn't fail in this active environment was the auto-focus. Not once did it let me down. Selecting AF continuous was the difference between missing a shot or gaining a good image. This was especially critical with the "air" shots as the boarders came in close to shore before reversing direction and heading out into the open water again.
