I had the opportunity, albeit rather too short, to get a few snaps of the local rose gardens. The scouts were holding a jamboree in the area so they were some of the subjects of todays wanderings. As was the rose garden itself.
All images taken with the Fuji HS10 either using macro or straight telephoto when required.
After watching the exuberance of youth it was off to smell the roses, no pun intended :P
As it was extremely hot out in the early afternoon sun (30C) locally, it was time to do a wander under some shade alongside a cooling stream. There was some nice dappled light around this area.
And finally, the way home.
Nice shots Ralph. I'm jealous of you enjoying summer down there while we're in the middle of winter.
ReplyDeleteNot to worry. I could do with some of your snow or frost
ReplyDeleteEnjoying looking through your pics Ralph, thanks for sharing them. Waiting for my HS10 to arrive in the next couple of days. Can't wait to get out there and try it out.
