If you are not sure as to what camera to buy and you are deciding between the HS20 and the entry level DSLR's here's a video that may well answer your questions regarding why the Fuji is a good unit to buy.
My thanks to the Camera Store TV guys for doing this presentation.
... It's a great video.
ReplyDelete... We just want the in-between camera- the $1000 HS model.
Ahhhh...
ReplyDeleteThat would be an Hs30 no doubt :)
waaaahhhh! that's one hell of a Cannon you got there! hahahaha! I once owned a 400mm Sigma lens for my DSLR but sold it because I found that thing too heavy and bulky to carry; this thing must weigh some 10kg's?!?! I now own a HS10, not that responsive as a DSLR but with one hell of a zoomlens on it which produces maybe better shots than that Cannon! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's what "Bridge" cameras are all about!
ReplyDeleteGiving you the maximum flexibility,in a reasonably sized package.
A DSLR with a 600mm lens would be a formidable package, not practible for normal use, very expensive,AND heavy, although,no doubt, capable of better results at higher ISOs.
However,my HS20 gives me great A4 prints,in a package capable of some great results, with an excellent lens, and some great features.
